Sarah Gilstrap
District President 18B
In my role as District President, I look forward to collaborating with alumnae in Colorado and Wyoming, and finding ways to strengthen the bond of sisterhood across generations. Outside of my commitment to the fraternity, I'm passionate about eating disorders awareness and education, and I work in marketing for a national treatment hospital. I'm the wife of a cycling-loving husband and mom of two daughters, and my favorite past time is being outdoors with my family enjoying beautiful Colorado weather. Collegiate Chapter: Mu, Drury University, Class of 2008 Favorite Zeta Memory: On bid day, it was tradition to drive around our college campus honking your horns, singing songs and sorority chants. My Zeta family and I would drive around in my red Jeep Wrangler with the top off, blaring music and singing - we had so much fun

I am an Omega Zeta, a graduate of Southern Methodist University in Dallas. In 1999, my husband and I moved to Colorado with our two children. My favorite collegiate memory is attending chapter dinners in our beautiful Zeta house! As an alumnae, my favorite activity is our annual collegiate support night where we make snacks for finals week for the Colorado State University Zetas! My favorite Zeta symbol is the crown.

I am a Gamma XI, a graduate of Indiana University of Pennsylvania. Throughout my “adult years” I’ve lived in Northern Virginia, Colorado Springs, Raleigh, NC and returned to my home state of Pennsylvania in 1996. In early 2017, my husband and I returned to my favorite state, Colorado, to be near 2 of our children and our grandchildren. Life has here has been full and happy. Being a Zeta was a huge part of my college experience and I count some of my sisters as my closest friends to this day. Joining the Boulder Alumni group has been a great way to reconnect to ZTA.

I am an Alpha Omicron, a graduate of The University of Iowa in Iowa City, Iowa. After college, I lived in Virginia, Illinois, and Iowa. I moved to Colorado in January of 2013 and married my husband Eric, later that year. I have appreciated being a part of alumnae groups wherever I’ve lived, recognizing that each time I reconnect with my sisters, no matter what state, it does “feel like I’m all the way back, where I belong”.
